I can't believe another autumn is here. Where did the summer go? The girls are doing well. Kristyn is still small and despite some issues is overall doing very well. She's just shy of 18 lbs at 23 months old. She is getting speech therapy at home once a week. Her vocabulary is definitely growing, but she has substantial difficulty enunciating her words. As a result, many of her words sound the same. She is a very happy child, pretty even-tempered, compared to her sister.

Kayley is also doing very well and is very healthy. She's weighing about 23 lbs now. There's no doubt that I have two little girls now, not two babies. Kayley is a bit more dramatic than Kristyn (don't know where she gets that from, Dad) and has a quicker temper than Kristyn. Nonetheless, when one of them is upset, the other one will say "stop it!" It's usually very funny to watch. We will have a 2nd birthday here very soon.

The girls are very fond of Kasia, our au pair. They took to her almost immediately and are very excited to see her come upstairs.

Brandin came to see us in July and has now turned 17. Happy Birthday B!! The guys went to drag boat races in Augusta and had a great time. Our visit was short, but it was great to spend time with him. He is a Junior in High School now. Where did the time go???
